As a designer and lifelong WNBA fan, I wanted to contribute to the story of a league that’s breaking barriers, building community, and gaining long-overdue visibility. This self-initiated project was created as a tribute to the athletes who have shaped the 2024 season. The series focuses on three standout players: A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, and Angel Reese. Each design captures the individuality of the player while maintaining a cohesive system — built around bold typography, textured layering, and dynamic motion.

From jersey textures and on-court energy to quoted statistics and personal signatures, the visuals are designed to celebrate performance and presence.

Each piece was built for multi-platform use — designed as high-resolution posters but also optimized for Instagram slides or story drops. This reflects how WNBA fans interact with content: fast-moving, emotionally engaged, and community-driven.

The project became a personal benchmark — a space to blend fandom, cultural commentary, and visual storytelling. It helped me explore how design can amplify visibility, honor individuality, and speak directly to a passionate audience.
