Etherea is a bold streetwear brand I created to carve out a space for those who embrace individuality and defy categorization. As a masculine-presenting, queer Black woman, I’ve often navigated the tension between being too soft or too hard, too visible or too hidden. Etherea is my answer to that struggle — a brand that champions self-expression for the unseen.

To bring this vision to life, I began with deep research, exploring existing brands with similar missions, identifying the best platforms for launch, and selecting the best print-on-demand services for efficient production. I then focused on developing a distinct visual identity, from the logo design to the brand’s signature colors and typography.

The debut collection features a range of streetwear pieces — mesh shorts, graphic tees, and accessories — all designed with a retro-futuristic aesthetic that blends bold, nostalgic elements with modern silhouettes. Every piece was crafted to feel expressive, allowing wearers to embrace the unseen aspects of themselves. I prioritized designs that stand out, yet maintain a sense of versatility for everyday wear.
