At Rocky Heights, I worked for its sub-brand Remembrance Keepsakes, where we created personalized printed memorial items for grieving families and clients of funeral homes across the U.S. The work required speed, precision, and deep empathy - a rare combination that pushed my skills in both production and human-centered design.
Each order began with a set of images, program content, and specific customization requests. I edited and enhanced every photo, proofread and formatted the copy, and designed custom backgrounds that reflected the personality and legacy of the loved one. These programs were typically created as trifold, bifold, or gate-fold layouts and often expanded into full memorial packages that included matching social media graphics, blankets, pillows, mugs, and more.
**Faces and names have been blurred to respect the privacy of the families and individuals memorialized in these programs.

This role sharpened my eye for layout design and my ability to work under pressure while still delivering high-impact, emotionally resonant visuals. Within the first 6 months, I increased my productivity by 200%, which streamlined my workflow to complete more orders while enhancing design quality. I also played a key role in expanding Rocky Heights’ reach by helping onboard new funeral home clients and increasing overall sales. Most importantly, my work brought comfort and beauty to families navigating difficult moments.
